Anil Ambani today said his group will invest Rs 50,000 crore Reliance in Gujarat, in 5-7 years on different projects the company tries to exploit the opportunities in the state.
"We are committed to invest Rs 50,000 crore in Gujarat in gas projects in operation and coal-based for 5-7 years," Ambani said while speaking at the 5th World Summit of Vibrant Gujarat here.
He said that investment involves substantial investment in the cement sector in areas such as Kutch, Porbandar and Junagadh.
Already the group company Reliance Power is committed to development activities in Bharuch in Gujarat, where is the creation of a 8000 MW gas-based.
"I would say that the group will play a significant role in driving change and transformation that is happening in Gujarat, he added.
