Whoever has had the opportunity to attend any of the movies by underground filmmaker FJ Ossang French in the 34th Exhibition of St. Paul certainly came out with those - and thousands of others - no doubt in my head. Actually, it matters little.
Restless, provocative and, above all, passionate about cinema, Ossang in the manner of a David Lynch even more radical, not to deliver anything on a plate.
"I like the idea that cinema has to hide to show. In the great old productions all was not shown," explains in an interview with the G1, the director, who among his many references have a bit of cut-ups "of the writer beat William S. Burroughs and others many of the films of FW Murnau "Nosferatu."
Of course I would like to find a way to film that was more simple and direct ... but it has to be step-by-step.
