Top-ranked Novak Djokovic will play Ervin Eleskovic on Friday when the defending champion Serbia faces against Sweden in the Davis Cup quarterfinals.
Djokovic overtook Rafael Nadal as the No. 1-ranked player to reaching the Wimbledon final. Then beat the Spanish in four sets in the final to win his third Grand Slam title.
Viktor Troicki will face Michael Ryderstedt in the opening match, while Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic will meet Simon Aspelin and Robert Lindstedt in Saturday’s doubles.
Reverse singles will be played on Sunday.
The winning team will face Kazakhstan or Argentina in the semifinals.
